Due to the thoughtful and attentive nature of our work, we invite clients to arrange their portrait sessions well in advance whenever possible. At Darian Drake Photography, we maintain a deliberate approach to scheduling, accepting only one client booking per day. This allows each session to unfold at a comfortable and unhurried pace, ensuring that every detail—from lighting and composition to expression and atmosphere—receives the care and consideration it deserves.

This commitment to quality naturally means that available dates tend to fill rather quickly. Many of our clients reserve their sessions several weeks ahead in order to secure a preferred date, particularly during the busier seasons of the year. By planning ahead, you ensure that your portrait experience can be arranged with the same level of refinement and attention that defines our work.

We consider each session to be a collaborative and carefully crafted experience rather than a hurried appointment. For that reason, we encourage those who are considering a portrait session to enquire early. Doing so allows us to dedicate the time and care necessary to create images that are truly worthy of the moment they represent.

If you are pressed for time, you may inquire as to our soonest availability. There are times when our clients must reschedule, allowing for a very limited number of appointments which may be as early as same week.
